SLEEPING ON PURPOSE
SUBHEAD: "The Transformative Role of Prayer in Embracing Motherhood's Daily Challenges and Celebrating Small Victories"
Prayer is Productive
When I first became a mom, one of the hardest adjustments for me, is the feeling that I accomplished nothing at the end of the day. Nothing to show for it, to-do list is not ticked off.
Sure, I kept the baby alive, but that was it.
Last week, we attended the Planet Shakers Conference as a family.
Being there in the atmosphere and the presence of God, reminded me of this quote from Michelle Myers. “Prayer is productive”.
I’m still on this journey of a heart change. It's been a tough transition for me to become a mom. Still, am, and I do acknowledge that every mom goes through a type of struggle whether it be guilt of working, giving up a career, or just mourning pre-baby life.
I Still LOVE a to-do list, and it's taken me time to get to this point. Please don’t compare your beginnings to my middle, but I hope you can take some encouragement and inspiration from what I am sharing today.
Sometimes when you do stop, and pray, it fills you up and gets you going again.
